JACKSON, April 23-- Proclamation, Union University's 16-voice auditioned vocal ensemble, will present P.D.Q. Bach's Oedipus Tex Thursday, May 2, at 8 p.m. in the University's Recital Hall, room D-3.
Oedipus Tex, an offbeat, humorous Western piece, is described as an "Oratorio in One Cathartic Act." Proclamation will also perform more traditional selections during the presentation.
Following Proclamation, Union's handbell ensemble will perform several selections.
The hour-long concert is free and open to the public.
