JACKSON, June 5-- Union University will offer four courses for seminary credit this fall through the University's seminary studies program. The program allows students to take seminary-level courses on Union's campus and apply earned credits toward graduation at any Southern Baptist seminary.
Classes will for thirteen weeks from Sept. 9 to Dec. 9. Course offerings and meeting times are as follows:
Students wishing to enroll in the Supervised Ministry Experience must first take Formation for Christian Ministry as a prerequisite. The course is offered July 9-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Both the Supervised Ministry Experience and the Christian Education Telecourse count toward on-campus course requirements.
Costs for the program are a $35 application fee and a fee of $250 per course. Fees are double for non-Southern Baptists. Textbooks for all courses may be purchased at the campus bookstore. Seminary students have full access to the Union University library.
