JACKSON, June 20-- Union University's World Wide Web site has been selected by the Tennessee State Museum and Tennessee 200 for an exhibit commemorating the state's bicentennial celebration.
Titled "Made in Tennessee," the exhibit will be part of The Spirit of Tennessee, a specially-equipped train that will tour approximately 50 Tennessee towns between July and November.
The exhibit examines the themes of industry, agriculture and commerce in the State of Tennessee over the past 200 years.
"Made in Tennessee," featuring the web sites of Tennessee-based attractions and institutions, includes four viewing stations which allow visitors to browse Tennessee web sites.
"This exhibit of Tennessee web sites will showcase business opportunities and personal communication channels which will one day be commonplace for all Tennesseans," Lois Riggins-Ezell, director of the Tennessee State Museum, said.
