"PEACE OUT" BRINGS 60'S AND 70'S MUSIC TO UNION NOV. 9

JACKSON, Nov. 4-- "Peace Out," a variety show featuring hit songs from the 60's and 70's, is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. in Union University's G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.

Special guests for the evening include local act 60's Explosion, plus a performance by the Jackson Central-Merry Show Choir. In addition, eight groups of Union students will compete for a $500 grand prize performing hits including "Stayin' Alive," "Help," "Feelin' Groovy" and a medley of songs from "The Brady Bunch."

Tickets to "Peace Out" are $3 for students, $5 general admission. They may be purchased in the University's Student Union Building or at the door. For more information, call Union's student activity center at (901) 661-5150.
