"CAFE EXPRESSO BONGO" RETURNS TO UNION UNIVERSITY NOV. 8
JACKSON, Nov. 4-- "Café Expresso Bongo," one of the most popular productions of Union University's past theater seasons, will return to the University's W.D. Powell Theater Friday, Nov. 8, at 9:30 p.m.
"Café Expresso Bongo" provides a coffee house atmosphere as Union students faculty, and alumni perform an assortment of poems, prose, plays and music.
"In the tradition of the great coffee houses of the 60's, we'll explore various art forms in a relaxed, entertaining environment," David Burke, director of the Union University Players, said.
