UNION TO HOST "LUNCH & LEARN" FOR AREA SENIORS NOV. 19

JACKSON, November 8-- Union University's office of campus ministries and church services will host "Lunch & Learn," a quarterly program for area senior adults, Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the University's Coburn Dining Room.

Waymon Jones, president of the United Tennessee League, Inc., and his wife, Pat, a UTL staff member, will share about UTL's work in promoting alcohol and drug awareness. Their school program is very active in Tennessee schools, reaching approximately 17,500 students last year alone.

Mucial entertainment will be provided by Jim Criswell, minister of music at First Baptist Church, Trenton.

Fellowship begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Coburn Dining Room, followed by a dutch treat buffet at 11 p.m. and the program. Cost of the meal is $4.25, which includes beverage and dessert.

Reservations are not required, although churches are asked to provide group size estimates by Nov. 15. For more information, call Union's office of campus ministries and church services at (901) 661-5160.
