UNION UNIVERSITY TO OFFER FOUR SPRING SEMINARY STUDIES COURSES

JACKSON, November 19-- Union University will offer four courses for seminary credit this fall through the University's seminary studies program. The program allows students to take seminary-level courses on Union's campus and apply earned credits toward graduation at any Southern Baptist seminary.

Classes will for thirteen weeks from Feb. 10 to May 12. Course offerings and meeting times are as follows:

Students wishing to enroll in the Supervised Ministry Experience must first take Formation for Christian Ministry as a prerequisite. The course is offered Jan. 14-17 and Jan. 20-23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Both the supervised ministry experience and the missiology telecourse count toward on-campus course requirements.

Costs for the program are a $35 application fee and a fee of $250 per course. Fees are double for non-Southern Baptists. Textbooks for all courses may be purchased at the campus bookstore. Seminary students have full access to the Union University library.
