UNION UNIVERSITY SYMPHONIC BAND TO APPEAR IN CONCERT NOV. 21

JACKSON, November 19-- Union University's symphonic band, under the direction of Dr. David McClune, will present a concert Thursday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. in Union's G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.

The band will perform a variety of musical selections, including songs from the medieval era, 1770's American folk music, "The Great Gandalf" from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and Christmas songs. The program will also feature a virtuosic tuba/trombone performance.

The concert is free and open to the public.
