STUDENT-DIRECTED PLAYS HIGHLIGHTED DEC. 5 AT UNION UNIVERSITY

JACKSON, December 2-- Alpha Psi Omega, Union University's professional dramatic fraternity, will present "Four Directors, Four Shows, One Night," an evening of student-directed plays, Thursday, December 5, at 8 p.m. in Union's W.D. Powell Theater.

The evening's first offering, "Sorry Wrong Number" by Lucille Fletcher, will be directed by Jimmy Duke, a junior communication arts major. The play is a tale of a woman who discovers a murderous plot, only to be thwarted in repeated attempts to notify the authorities.

Senior communications major Paul Latham will direct play number two, Tennessee Williams' "The Case of the Crushed Petunias." The play tells the story of a woman tormented by the destruction of her prized flowers.

Sawyer Goodman's "Dust of the Road," under the direction of junior communications major John Highsmith, is a tale about a mysterious tramp who brings grim warnings to a young family.

Senior communications major John Cordwell II will direct Mark Twain's "The Diary of Adam and Eve," a hilarious new look at the origin of mankind.

Tickets to the presentation are $2 each and may be reserved through Union's box office. For reservations or more information, call Union's department of theater at (901) 661-5287 or (901) 661-5215.
