JACKSON, December 10-- Who's Who Among America's Teachers. a biennial publication honoring the nation's top educators, has selected 20 Union University faculty to be honored in the volume's fifth edition.
Each of the almost 70,000 teachers listed were nominated by one or more former students who themselves were listed in either Who's Who Among American High School Students or The National Dean's List.
"Union University is committed to excellence in teaching, creativity in pedagogy, and to caring for students," Union President David S. Dockery said. "The recognition of over 20 Union faculty members listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers demonstrates this commitment and is an outstanding tribute to the quality of the Union faculty."
Union faculty recognized in the 1994 edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers are:
