UNION UNIVERSITY TO OFFER THREE SPRING SEMINARY STUDIES COURSES

JACKSON, December 11-- Union University will offer three courses for seminary credit this spring through the University's seminary studies program. The program allows students to take seminary-level courses on Union's campus and apply earned credits toward graduation at any Southern Baptist seminary.

Classes will meet Mondays for thirteen weeks from Feb. 12 to May 13. Course offerings and meeting times are as follows:

10:30-1:30, Introduction to Christian Theology (27040) - Taught by Dr. Mike Nicholson. Three hours credit.

2:00-5:00, Survey of Christian Ethics (29250) - Taught by Dr. David Gushee (telecourse). Three hours credit.

5:45-8:45, Greek Syntax and Exegesis (22440) - Taught by Dr. Paul Jackson. Three hours credit.

Costs for the program are a $35 application fee and a fee of $225 per course. Textbooks for all courses may be purchased at the campus bookstore. Seminary students have full access to the Union University library.
