So, you don't get this credit card. Maybe you save up your money so you can get what you want in a few weeks - delayed gratification. Work for what you want. You'll appreciate it more that way. Well, you graduate college. You get your degree and a great new job to go along with it. You have to relocate, but your job will take care of all your moving expenses - even your deposit on an apartment. However, the apartment is completely empty. You are going to have to furnish the whole thing in order for you to live in it. You name it, you have to buy it. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, couch, tables, bed, dressers, the works. No need in asking mom and/or dad - they are broke from getting you through college. You are on your own.
What will you do?
Dig out that credit card application you tucked away somewhere. A person's gotta live. Live on the bare necessities for as long as possible. Little by little, buy your needs from garage sales and the Salvation Army.
