Christmas is just around the corner. You have this great new job with this great new salary. You want to buy your entire family gifts now that you have income. As the gift list piles up, you realize that this is going to be more expensive than you thought.
What will you do?
I don't have a credit card:

I budgeted enough to buy these gifts and I really want my family to have these presents. I can either live without eating out this month or downsize the gift list. Cousin Billy Bob doesn't really need that new bike anyway.
I have a credit card:

Disregard expenses. I can pay the balance when my tax return comes.
I have a credit card:

I can afford to splurge a little, but there is no reason to get crazy and out of control. Downsize the gift list a bit.
