Call for Presentations

Call for Presentations Submission System

The Union University School of Education's Education Research Forum brings together educators, researchers, teacher candidates and pre-service teachers in order to raise contemporary and constructive discussions about educational issues.

This year, we are asking how education can be transformed to consider holistic ways to think about the learner, the teacher, the learning process, and the community in order to produce wholly-engaged, achieving learners.

To that end, we recognize the importance of research-based instructional strategies, theory grounded discussions, and original research presentations addressing one of the following areas:

  • Policy and Leadership: leadership and/or policy implications in educational practice
  • Teacher Training: changes in pre-service and professional development for teachers
  • Community Collaboration: parental and the community-at-large involvement
  • Instructional Practices: differentiation, best practices, technology integration
  • Assessment: formative and summative assessment and the educational implications
  • Content/curricular focus and best practices

We welcome these kinds of discussions and presentations that will advance thinking about education beyond achievement and mandates.
