About
Ernest L. Easley has served at Union University since 2015. Prior to that time, he served as Lead Pastor for over thirty years in Texas and Georgia in five churches. His involvement in the Southern Baptist Convention includes serving as a Trustee for the International Mission Board and the Executive Committee in which he served as Vice Chairman and Chairman.

Ernest continues his preaching ministry on Sunday nights at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee and various churches on Sunday mornings.  He is a long-time contributor for sermonsearch.com. Ernest serves as the Director of the R.G. Lee Center for Christian Ministry and oversees the annual West Tennessee Evangelism Rally.

Ernest is married to Julie and together they have three children and seven grandchildren.  The Easleys are members of Englewood Baptist Church of Jackson, Tennessee.
