Joe ('74) and Jan Pitts Westbury traveled to Nanning, China, at Thanksgiving to complete the adoption of their 19-month-old daughter, Yuan Su Fen. Joe and Jan have given Su Fen the American name of Charlotte Su. Her first name is in honor of Charlotte Diggs "Lottie" Moon, Southern Baptists' first missionary to China. Shortly after returning from China, Joe left the North American Mission Board to become associate editor of The Christian Index, state paper for Georgia Baptists.
