Alsobrook joins Union as vice president for advancement
“Bob Alsobrook brings a remarkable depth of experience to his new role at Union,” Michael Duduit, Union's executive vice president, says. “He has served as a senior officer with one of the nation's top development consulting groups and has managed capital campaigns for some of the nation's largest and best universities. We are blessed to have someone of Bob's talent and experience serve in this critical leadership role at Union.” In his new role, Alsobrook provides strategic leadership and direction for Union's efforts in financial development. One of his primary responsibilities will be management of Union's current $35 million capital campaign, which is the largest such effort ever undertaken in West Tennessee (outside Shelby County). Alsobrook's extensive development experience includes service at Tulane University as vice president for medical center development, and at the University of Chicago as director of medical center alumni development. He also served as assistant dean for administration at the University of Memphis School of Law. Alsobrook was named administrator of the year at the University of Memphis in 1979. He has also completed Tennessee's Gibson County Leadership Program and was honored by the Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership fraternity. |
