Be a part of Union’s Homecoming 2001 on February
13-17. Come visit with old friends, check out the changes to the
campus, and enjoy all the activities of the week.
Homecoming activities kick off on Tuesday, Feb. 13, with exhibits featuring Metalwork by Joel Peterson and Design/paintings by Tony Novak in the Art Gallery. That night student teams participate in way-out, wild and wacky homecoming games. Wednesday, Feb. 14, features praise and worship led by contemporary Christian artist Andrew Peterson. Relax with your sweetheart that evening at the Homecoming Coffeehouse. The homecoming week tailgate party starts the activities on Thursday, Feb. 15, before the Lady Bulldog and Bulldog basketball teams take on Martin Methodist. The alumni recital held in the new Hartley Recital Hall in Jennings Hall and a bonfire will wrap up the evening. Seminars and dinners sponsored by several academic departments will take place on Friday, Feb. 16. That evening come and enjoy All-Sing 2001, one of Union’s oldest campus traditions. Saturday, Feb. 17, includes reunions, a complimentary brunch, the Alumni Awards Luncheon, Lady Bulldog and Bulldog basketball action with Freed-Hardeman University, and many other activities.
