David S. Dockery has served as President of Union University since 1996.  The author or editor of more than twenty books, including Christian Scripture and the Holman Bible Handbook, Dockery is a recognized leader in Christian Higher Education.  He serves on the Board of Directors of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities.  Dockery is a Senior Fellow for the Wilberforce Forum, and a Consulting Editor for Christianity Today

George H. Guthrie serves as the Benjamin W. Perry Professor of Bible and Chair of the Department of Christian Studies at Union University.  He is the author of numerous articles and four books, including The Structure of Hebrews: a Text-Linguistic Analysis and The NIV Application Commentary: Hebrews.  He holds the Ph.D. and M.Div. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Th.M. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. 

Gregory Alan Thornbury is Assistant Professor of Christian Studies and Director of the Carl F. H. Henry Center of Christian Leadership at Union University.  He is the co-editor of Who Will Be Saved? And author of several articles and book chapters.  Thornbury is a Fellow of the Wilberforce Forum, the Research Institute of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (SBC), and the Center for Church Reform.  He holds the Ph.D. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Brad Green is Assistant Professor of Christian Studies at Union University.  His work had focused on the theology of Colin Gunton.  He is a contributor to New Testament Interpretation and Theologians of the Baptist Tradition.  Green holds the Ph.D. from Baylor University.

Harry L. Poe is the Charles Colson Professor of Faith and Culture at Union University.  Poe is the author of several books, including The Gospel and Its Meaning and Christian Witness in a Postmodern World and The Designer Universe.  He holds the Ph.D. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has studied at Oxford University.

David P. Gushee is the Graves Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at Union University.  A prolific author and much sought-after speaker, Gushee serves as a Fellow for the Wilberforce Forum.  He is the author or editor of several books, including The Righteous Gentiles of the Holocaust and Toward a Just and Caring Society.  His Ph.D. work was completed at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.

Jimmy H. Davis serves as Associate Provost and Professor of Chemistry at Union University.  With Hal Poe, he is the author of Science and Faith: An Evangelical Dialogue and Designer Universe: Intelligent Design and the Existence of God.  Davis holds the Ph.D. from the University of Illinois.

Barbara McMillin is Dean of the College of Arts and Science and Professor of English Literature at Union University.  She completed her doctoral work at the University of Mississippi and had done additional study at Harvard University. 

Glenn A. Marsch holds the Ph.D. from Florida State University.  Currently he serves as Assistant Professor of Physics at Union University.  A frequent participant in seminars on Faith and Science, Marsch is an Associate of the Vanderbilt University Center in Molecular Toxicology.

Karen Mulder is the Arts editor for Christianity Today.  A graduate of Boston University and Yale University, she is currently completing her Ph.D. at the University of Virginia.  Mulder is Assistant Professor of Art at Union University where her focus is in art history. 

Paul Munson holds degrees from Wheaton College (B.Mus.) and the University of Michigan (Ph.D.).  He is an Assistant Professor of Music at Union University where he teaches music history.  He has published the first critical edition of Franz Liszt’s oratorio St. Stanislaus

Antonio A. Chiareli holds the Ph.D. from Northwestern University and serves as Associate Professor of Sociology at Union University.  His work has focused on the peasant movements and socioeconomic development in Latin America. 

Kina Mallard serves as Director for the Center of Faculty Development and Chair of the Communication Arts Department at Union University.  Mallard is a frequent contributor to academic leadership forums and the author of several articles and book chapters.  She holds the Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee.

Thomas R. Rosebrough holds the Ph.D. from Ohio State University.  He serves as Professor of Education and Dean of the School of Education and Human Studies at Union University.  Prior to coming to Union Rosebrough served as Dean of the Graduate School at Malone College.  His publications have focused on instruction in higher education.

Susan R. Jacob (Ph.D. University of Tennessee, Memphis) serves as Dean and Professor in the School of Nursing at Union University.  A recognized scholar in the field of nursing, Jacob is the co-editor of Contemporary Nursing: Issues, Trends, and Management and has authored several book chapters and articles in professional journals. 

Mary Ann Poe is Associate Professor and Director of the Social Work Program at Union University.  A graduate of Vanderbilt University, the University of Louisville, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Poe is a leader in the North American Association of Christians in Social Work. 

Walton Padelford (Ph.D. Louisiana State University) is Professor of Economics and Acting Dean of the McAfee School of Business Administration.  Padelford is recognized for interdisciplinary emphasis.  Donald L. Lester is the former dean of the McAfee School of Business Administration and is currently the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Arkansas State University.

Kimberly Thornbury serves as Dean of Students at Union University.  She is a graduate of Messiah College and the University of Louisville. An active member of the American College Personnel Association and the Association for Christians in Student Development, she is currently completing her Ph.D. at Regent University (Virginia Beach).

Todd E. Brady is Minister to the University at Union University.  A graduate of Southwestern Seminary, Brady is a frequent speaker at conferences across the country on campus ministry.

Carla Sanderson serves as Provost and Professor of Nursing at Union University.  Sanderson is a Commissioner for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Southern Baptist Colleges and Schools.  She holds the Ph.D. form the University of Florida.
