Chi Omega's national philanthropy is the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. The Chi Omega/Make-A-Wish® alliance was announced in 2002, and since then Chi Omega has raised over $6.5 million, bringing joy to the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses through wish granting. Chi Omegas on Union's campus work hard each year with the intent of hosting a wish granting each year.

In the 2011-2012 school year, the Upsilon chapter of Chi Omega reached their goal and was able to grant the wish of 6-year-old Dylan sending him to Chatanooga for an adventure on the Chatanooga Choo Choo. The girls rallied together friends and family for this rush wish and hosted a party with over 100 people for Dylan at Chuck E Cheese in Jackson. This marked the 5th wish that Union University's chapter of Chi Omega has been able to grant! The girls are excited about granting furthur wishes and making a difference in the lives of children for years to come.
