Student Programs promotes campus life at Union University by hosting events for students and drawing attention to other activities already present on campus. Student Programs attempts to do this in several ways:
- Concerts: This fall, Union University will welcome Shane and Shane, Bebo Norman, and Shawn McDonald. Past artists include Caedmon's Call, Dave Barnes, Derek Webb and Sandra McCracken, Andrew Peterson, as well as Union University alums Chris Rice and ScrathTrack. Union also seeks up-and-coming artists to share their gifts with the community, such as Mitch McVicker and Anathallo.
- On Campus Activities: The Union University campus hosts a myriad of activities for all interests: athletics, recitals, art exhibits, open mics, coffeehouses, and more. The Student Programs office seeks to draw attention to these activities because it believes that supporting our fellow students builds a unified campus. Look for events at http://www.uu.edu/events/
Students can learn about events through e-nnouncements, the automatic e-mail update sent to all current students every Monday.

SAC
SAC stands for Student Activities Council. SAC is made up of 25 energetic students who have a passion for planning on and off campus events such as student-wide game shows, Drive-in movies, the annual Variety Show, and community service projects like the Carl Perkins Christmas Special.
Look for upcoming events in the Office of Student Program's new monthly calendar posted regularly via campus mail. You can also stay updated on events sponsored through SAC by logging onto their website.
