 Duties DURING your shift:  

A student doesn't have to be logged onto the Mac in order to print or to use the applications.

Restart any computers that appear frozen.

 
The Windows pcs DO have to be logged onto the network in order to print and to use the applications.

If a computer won't fully restart:

bulletCheck for any loose cables on the back of the computer.
bulletIf the cables are loose, tighten them and reboot the computer.
bulletIf the computer still doesn't reboot, notify your supervisor of the computer's location (which lab), computer number (located on the front of the CPU), and what steps were taken.
