On our site we have provided two pages with references.  The first page is an annotated bibliography that includes books and articles that we feel are useful for a middle school teacher teaching ESL. The other page is a webliography that includes websites that we feel are beneficial to an ESL teacher.

We focused on books and articles that address cultural issues in the classroom, technology in the classroom, teaching and practical application, and how to assess ESL students. 

We interviewed several middle school teachers and these are the topics that they showed interest in.  There are of course several other areas that we could have concentrated on but we feel these will cover some of the crucial areas of focus that a teacher needs to have when teaching ESL students.
