There are many ways in which a teacher can integrate technology into the classroom. This is especially important today as more and more of our society is turning towards technological advances to make our lives easier.  As technology becomes more advanced, so should our students become more aware of the technology that is being introduced.

You may be thinking that you, in fact, don't have much background in the workings of much of technology that is taken for granted today.  Here is a somewhat comprehensive list of sites that provide lessons and information about the technology on which our lives are based:

This site lists several lesson plans dealing with technology in the classroom. Have your students make their own barometer, study CDs, discover robotics; there are many samples of lessons that are all centered on technology that is used in most of our everyday lives.
