SGA: Red Bus Project
April 3, 2012: 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Barefoot Student Union Building, Barefoots Joe Patio
The Red Bus Project, part of Show Hope, is coming to Union on Tuesday and is sponsored by the Senior Class Council and SGA!
Show Hope is a non-profit organization that mobilizes individuals and communities to meet the most pressing needs of orphans in distress by providing 1) homes for waiting children through adoption aid grants, and 2) life-saving medical care for orphans with special needs. For more information about Show Hope, please visit www.showhope.org
A bus will be parked outside Barefoots beginning at 10:00am on Tuesday (April 3rd) and you can come donate clothes or buy clothes at a great price! It is like a double-decker bus thrift store. All of the proceeds will benefit families seeking to adopt as well as an orphanage in China!
That night on Barefoots patio (or inside the Bowld, depending on weather) CALEB will be putting on a free concert at about 7:30pm. CALEB is a band led by Steven Curtis Chapman's son. The Chapmans established Show Hope in 2003.
