Admission to Honors Integrative Studies
There are two ways to gain admission to Honors Integrative Studies:
- By application: Students who are admitted to Union and have a 3.5 GPA or a 28 or higher on the ACT will be invited to apply for admission. However, students who do not meet these criteria but think they are up to the challenge of Honors work are also encouraged to apply.
- By award: Each year's winner of the Founders' Award at the Scholars of Excellence competition and all Kalos Scholarship winners receive an automatic offer of admission.
Students who have applied can expect to receive a decision via email around April 15. Only students who have been formally admitted to the Honors Community may take courses with an HON prefix or declare a Minor in Integrative Studies.
