Meritorious Service Awards Nomination Form

The Office of Alumni Relations invites you to nominate outstanding individuals for our annual meritorious service awards. These individuals will be honored at our next Meritorious Service Awards Banquet. Please submit nominations for any of the awards listed below.

  • Alumni of the Year Award: Presented to a Union University graduate for distinction in her/her profession, service to mankind, and/or contribution to Union University
  • Outstanding Young Alumni of the Year Award: Presented to up to 3 Union University graduates who are age 40 or younger with a record of significant accomplishment in professional life and for service to Union University or the world.
  • Union Family Legacy Award: Presented to one family that has a strong tradition of attending Union University. The recipient must include a minimum of three generations of graduates. The family will have exemplified years of involvement and commitment to the university through extraordinary service, financial giving, and the intentional effort to influence others to attend Union as well. All generations will have attained an exceptionally high level of achievement in their respective career, chosen vocation and/or in areas of human service. Their dedication to their alma mater will have been demonstrated for decades with their presence, outstanding mentorship, Godly character, and values that portray the core values of Union University.
  • Distinguished Service Award: Presented to a member of the Union community for distinction in his/her profession, service to mankind, and/or contribution to Union University.

  • Robert E. Craig Service Award: Presented to men and women who have given significant service and contributions to ensure the future of Union University.
  • Lest We Forget Award: Presented to men and women in order to recognize longtime service and contributions to the Union University community.
  • G.M. Savage Legacy Award: Given to a faculty or staff member for their ongoing commitment to Christ-centered education at Union University.
