  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Membership organization comprised of speech/language pathologists and audiologists that provides information and referrals to the public on speech, language, communication and hearing disorders.
  • The Association of Educational Therapists The Association of Educational Therapists is the national professional association for educational therapists.
  • Developmental Delay Resources Developmental Delay Resources is a national non-profit organization providing information and networking opportunities to parents and professionals working with children who have delays in motor, sensory-motor, language and social-emotional areas.
  • Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic Operators provide information on over 80,000 recorded textbooks and other classroom materials, from 4th grade through postgraduate levels, available for loan.
  • National Organization for Rare Disorders Unique federation of more than 140 not-for-profit voluntary health organizations serving people with rare disorders and disabilities and assisting the organizations that serve them. NORD is committed to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare disorders through programs of education, advocacy, research, and service.
  • The National Center on Educational Outcomes The National Center on Educational Outcomes provides national leadership in the participation of students with disabilities and Limited English Proficiency in national and state assessments, standards-setting efforts, and graduation requirements.
  • The Council for Exceptional Children The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted.
  • The National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC) The National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC) is a non-profit association whose mission is to represent private special education programs and affiliated state associations and to ensure access for individuals to appropriate private special education programs and services as vital components of the special education continuum.

  • Council for Learning Disabilities The Council for Learning Disabilities (CLD) is an international organization concerned about issues related to students with learning disabilities. Working to build a better future for students with LD has been the primary goal of CLD for more than 30 years. Involvement in CLD helps members stay abreast of current issues that are shaping the field, affecting the lives of students, and influencing professional careers. CLD members are committed to standards of excellence and innovation in educational research, practice, and policy.
  • International Dyslexia Association The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with dyslexia, their families and the communities that support them.
  • Learning Disabilities Association of America Since 1963, LDA has provided support to people with learning disabilities, their parents, teachers and other professionals. At the national, state and local levels, LDA provides cutting edge information on learning disabilities, practical solutions, and a comprehensive network of resources. These services make the Learning Disabilities Association of America the leading resource for information on learning disabilities.
  • National Association for the Education of African American Children with Learning Disabilities The National Association for the Education of African American Children with Learning Disabilities (NAEAACLD) was founded in 2000 for the purpose of increasing awareness and promoting an understanding of the specific issues facing African American children.
  • National Coalition on Auditory Processing Disorders, Inc. The mission of the National Coalition on Auditory Processing Disorders, Inc. is to assist families and individuals affected by auditory processing disorders through education, support, and public awareness as well as promoting auditory access of information for those affected by auditory processing disorders.
  • National Center for Learning Disabilities NCLD seeks to raise public awareness and understanding, furnish national information and referrals, and arrange educational programs and legislative advocacy.
  • The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)is part of the National Institutes of Health, which is the biomedical research arm of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Reading Rockets Reading Rockets provides detailed information about learning to read and strategies for supporting struggling readers at home, at school, and in the community. It offers news, practical information, expert advice, and resources for parents, teachers, tutors, child care providers, and policy makers.
  • Schwab Learning Developed especially for parents of children who are newly identified as having a learning difference, it is designed to be a parent's "guide" through the new and unfamiliar landscape of LD.

  • Tennessee Tomorrow Tennessee Tomorrow, Inc. is a statewide public/private partnership whose mission is to provide the vision for this state to improve the quality of life for all Tennesseans. That is why Tennessee Tomorrow has become Tennessee’s voice for excellence in education. Education is the engine that drives the economy.
