Strategies
· Remember they are adults; treat them as such.
· Keep material short, applicable, interesting, and pertinent.
· Your audience does not want a lecture; restrain yourself.
· Tell them and show them what they need to know.
· Work with small breakout groups.
· Watch for signs of unrest and boredom.
· Prepare in advance an evaluation form.
· Solicit comments that may help you restructure the class.
· Allow them to share life experiences.
