Sculpture Emphasis
Our goal is to provide Union students with the very best artistic education primarily in the areas of skills, conceptual development, and community engagement, undergirded by the conviction that all truth — including artistic truth — is God's truth. It is our goal that Union's art students and art department be at the forefront of our field.

Union University's sculpture program radically transformed my life, giving me a solid foundation for a career as a visual artist. The faculty at Union are dedicated artists who pour into the students with passion for Christ and for art, leading them and challenging them as the students work to develop their own voice and direction.
My years in the sculpture program at Union were instrumental in learning how to be disciplined in my craft, particularly regarding my time management and skill development. The emphasis on excellence and calling expanded my vision of what I would do with the education I received. I was encouraged to think outside the box, while simultaneously respecting and regarding the influence of history and considering everything through the lens of biblical truth.
