Ethics and Public Policy Minor
In his Farewell Address, George Washington wrote that "of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports." Today, we see how politicians with deficient character make solving problem difficult, coarsen our political culture, and undermine trust in our system of government. This minor is designed to help students make better connections between moral principles and public policy and provide these students greater knowledge of political institutions and processes so our graduates can better advocate for faith-based ideas in an increasingly secular world. Consequently, students integrate knowledge from courses in both Political Science and Christian Ethics.
