2026 West Tennessee Classical Educators' Conference
The Love of Learning and the Desire for God
Wednesday, July 8th
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
yield2Yield Conference Center, The Ethos Forum, Union University
This year's conference theme comes from the title of an important book on the history of education by Jean Leclercq. In it, Leclercq describes how the richly formative education provided in Western monasteries fostered both love of God and love of learning, two aims shared by contemporary classical Christian education. Join fellow classical educators from homeschools and traditional schools as we gather around this theme — the Love of Learning and the Desire for God — for a day of targeted workshops, enriching fellowship, and engaging lectures, including a keynote address by Dr. Junius Johnson.
ENJOY:
- Targeted workshops for Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric instruction
- Additional content lectures for deeper enrichment
- 2 Meals (Lunch, and Dinner)
- Optional overnight accommodations at Union University (July 7th)
Whether you're teaching Grammar, Logic, or Rhetoric students, you'll gain practical tools, fresh insights, and renewed encouragement for the classroom and beyond.
Workshop leaders from co-hosts: Union University, Westminster Academy (Memphis), Agathos Classical School (Columbia), and Augustine School (Jackson)
Conference registration, including meals, is only $40.
COME EARLY. STAY LATE. LEAVE RENEWED.
