Shift 1: The Jackson chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) will host a "Bed Build" day. Their mission is that "no child sleeps on the floor in our town." It has been decided that the bed build activities will take place on campus, in the North parking lot of Hammons Hall (side nearest Starbucks). We will be building twin-sized beds for children in West TN who do not have a bed. SHP works with DCS, foster agencies, etc. to identify the families in need and then deliver the beds to them. We will only be assembling the beds. Water and snacks will be provided.

Mrs. Angela Womack cleans the Logos Mondays-Fridays, but she is stretched very thin in our 53,616 square feet of space. We would love some volunteers to come to the Logos that day and do some cleaning: dusting around ceiling vents and on top of the shelving units, cleaning the white boards in the study rooms, removing writing utensils from the ceiling fixtures, and possibly straightening book shelves. Angela never has the opportunity to get to these needs.
