2021 Master Class Series
The Master Class Program is a monthly learning opportunity that addresses a specific arena of practice. The Master Class Series will focus on Therapeutic Techniques.
Each session will take an in-depth look at a specific therapeutic technique with a goal of practical take-aways that can be used in practice. Each monthly seminar will offer 1.5 contact hours of continuing education. One ethics workshop will be offered in November for 3.0 continuing education contact hours.
A certificate will be offered for each month's learning opportunity and a Master Class Completion certificate will be awarded to each person who competes the entire series.
Cost
- Community Members: $25 per session ($50 in November for Ethics Workshop)
- Faculty, Alumni, Field Instructors, Students, and Advisory Council: $15 per session ($40 in November for Ethics Workshop)
If you register for the entire series by January 10, 2021, you receive a discounted rate of $225 for Community Members and $125 for Faculty, Alumni, Field Instructors, Students, and Advisory Council.
Additional Information
Each class will meet on the second Friday of the month. The workshops will begin at 8:30 and conclued at 10:00, with the exception of the November ethics workshop that will be from 8:30-11:30.
Each month the class will cover a different aspect of trauma and response to trauma. The classes will be taught by faculty of the Union University School of Social Work and community members with expertise in specific practice areas.
