Union students to help in tornado relief

JACKSON, Tenn.April 4, 2006 — Union University will take two teams of students to Dyer, Tenn., this week to help in the tornado relief effort.

Todd Brady, minister to the university, said Union will work with the Gibson County Baptist Association.

“The greatest need at this time is to help clean debris from the farming fields,” Brady said. “The farmers can’t plant or plow with the debris all over the fields.”

The Union teams will help Thursday and Friday afternoons, April 6-7.
