I understand and agree to the follow to the best of my ability the requirements of the Keystone program:

  • The program is for 2 academic semesters.
  • The program is for incoming freshmen and 1st semester transfers.
  • The Keystone EDU 185 class, graded 2 credit course, is required.
  • Participation in weekly scheduled Keystone individual meetings is required.
  • Participation in planned Keystone events, activities, and group sessions is required.
  • Completion of required chapel attendance.

Your academic progress will be reviewed by the Undergraduate Admissions and Retention Committee at the end of your first semester of participation in Keystone. If you achieve a GPA of 2.0 or higher and are in good standing with the university, you will be allowed to return for a second full semester of participation in the program. If a 2.0 or higher GPA is maintained and you remain in good standing with the university, you will have successfully completed the Keystone program at the end of your second full semester of participation and will be fully admitted to the university. If your GPA falls under a 2.0 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of either the first or second semester, you will be reviewed by the Undergraduate Admissions and Retention Committee and may be readmitted with conditions or denied admission to a subsequent term. Each case will be considered on its own merits, taking into account the complete academic record and any special circumstances that might reflect on your ability to be successful at Union University.

Submitting this form gives the Center for Academic Success permission to pre-register me for courses for my initial entry term to the university after I have made my tuition deposit and confirmed my plans to participate in Summer Orientation. I understand the cost of the Keystone Program is $300 for the entire year and this charge will be added to my student account. I also understand that I am responsible for all charges incurred on my bill. If I decide to withdraw from Union after I have been registered for classes, no deposit will be refunded to me.
