If you are a student who feels called to the profession of nursing, then our traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is the place for you. At Union, you will receive a nursing education within an excellence-driven, liberal arts framework. The traditional BSN degree typically takes eight semesters (four years) to complete. Students take a core curriculum of courses (59 hours) shared by most Union students, then an additional 61 hours in nursing coursework. Graduates are prepared for entry into the profession of nursing as generalists or for graduate-level nursing education. Completion of core courses before starting the Nursing curriculum as found in the curriculum map (see below) for freshman and sophomore years. Grades of C or higher are required for all Natural Science, Social Science, Math and English courses with a minimum cumulative and Science GPA of 3.0.
