Union offers discounted tuition rates for adult students that are competitive with most local colleges. You are eligible to apply for state and federal grants and student loans, and you are encouraged to apply for federal financial aid as soon as possible. The Associate of Science in Professional Studies program features a combination of online courses created to accommodate your demanding schedules. Most courses are accelerated and last 8 weeks, and new classes begin five times throughout the year: January, March, June, August, and October. This allows you to earn college credit quickly and take classes when it is convenient for you.
When you enroll in the Associate of Science in Professional Studies program, the timetable is dependent upon how much coursework you want to take each term. Your success is our number one priority and our advisors work with you to develop a plan that will help you make progress towards your goal, while balancing life's demands.
Once you complete the Associates program, you will be prepared to transfer to Union University's degree completion program (BSOL). In this program, you can earn your Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership degree in 18 months.
Union recognizes that education is not limited to the classroom, and students in SOAPS programs may earn credit for college courses through prior learning. Advisors work closely with you to determine if your military training, professional certifications, and work and volunteer experiences may translate into college credit. Union University is in partnership with an approved organization, CAEL, to allow you the privilege and the platform to gain college credit for previous non-classroom learning experiences. You may also earn college credit through other nontraditional options including CLEP and DANTES testing. Ask your Marketing/Enrollment professional at the campus of your choice for more details.
