Position Summary: The position of the Media & Marketing Summer Intern is responsible for creating in the area of media development and marketing for LCC. This person will operate under the supervision of the Media & Marketing Director, Lead Pastor and Associate Pastors. Abilities & Qualifications Required: •Spiritual maturity and outward signs of a growing relationship with the Lord. •Belief and personal experience in the current work of the Holy Spirit in individual believers’ lives and in the church. •In Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in media or marketing from an accredited college or university is preferred. •Knowledge and ability to work within media platforms such as, but not limited to, Lightroom, Photoshop, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, etc. •Relational match with staff and volunteers. •Organized, reliable, consistent, and punctual meeting of deadlines. •Has vision to be able to take a concept, event, idea, etc. and create a comprehensive media package around it. •Will be a self-starter who is highly motivated to perform each task with a high degree of excellence. •Will demonstrate a desire for constant improvement and professional development. •Demonstrates through media production a desire to make the Media Department better through what is produced. Media Responsibilities and Duties: •Work in cooperation with the Media & Marketing Director to perform aspects of media & marketing production for Little Chapel Church. This includes but it not limited to signage, written materials, social media, graphic and logo designs, sanctuary slides, videos, web designs, podcasts, the Little Chapel Church app, and anything else the Lead Pastor and other leadership requests that would fall under the media & marketing description. •Consistent, stream-lined messaging design throughout various media. •Will be able to maintain and utilize social media platforms; i.e. Facebook, Instagram, etc. to promote Little Chapel Church and its events. •Administratively coordinate, in conjunction with the staff and Assimilation Director, media and ministry production for all church events, sermon series, projects, etc. to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive presentation. •Be prepared to present design options for review and approval by the time designated by the Media & Marketing Director. •Serve on the team of volunteers to execute media technology for worship services, ministries, and church events with an expectation that all church wide events will have media coverage. •Create designs for advertisements. •Attend weekly staff meetings and business meetings and be prepared to report on ministry activities. •Will have a demonstrated ability to create original, high quality media production that supports vision, events, etc. at Little Chapel Church and those we partner with. •Will be able to turn vision into creation without constant oversight (importance of being a self-starter/motivator). Must be creative, innovative, and administrative. Must also be able to take consideration of the demographic being reached to determine appropriate media & marketing outlets. •Will oversee coordination of Sunday morning announcements to the congregation. This includes planning, creating appropriate media & marketing, and Sunday morning execution of announcements, whether through media or in-person hosts. •Accessible to other support staff and pastors to complete projects that are media related. •Other duties as assigned.
