5/17/08 - Katie Watson, who majored in Teaching English as a Second Language, received the university’s Elizabeth Tigrett Medal. The award has been given to a top senior student since 1912 by vote of the entire Union faculty. Watson plans to pursue graduate study linguistics at Purdue University. - Morris Abernathy
