Being a mentor means a little help with homework, but more than anything it means forming friendships with kids and families that you probably would not be blessed to interact with otherwise. "This ministry was born out of a desire to serve the urban community of Jackson, TN, and become a more active part of our community. Our prayer is that our students will not simply get help with their homework, but that God will develop and nurture their faith so that they experience life to the full in Jesus.
