Union's email service is provided through the campus network, Novell, and is called GroupWise email.

Every campus network user (faculty, staff, administrator, and student) is provided with an official Union email account.

The employee's username is typically the person's first name initial and last name (up to 8 characters total) followed by @uu.edu, though there are exceptions. 
Typical examples: John Smith's email address would be jsmith@uu.edu
Rebecca Appletree's email address would be rappletr@uu.edu (Note: only 8 characters allowed)

The student's username is the student's Union ID number, proceeded by an "s".   Example:  s378907@uu.edu

Your GroupWise email account is accessible through two versions:

• Campus version (Windows & Mac)
  • You must be logged into the campus network!
• Internet version
  • Available on or off campus through your browser's Internet connection at mail.uu.edu
  • Also know as GroupWise Web Access
