The Union University Department of Art presents:
the 2008

Winter/Spring 2008 Schedule of Classes

Weekly classes are designed to encourage growth in one particular genre or concept. Individual style is encouraged as students work in a process-oriented atmosphere. Classes for age 4 through Adult are held in groups of 5-8 students or semi-private settings of 2-3 students. Classes can be scheduled and designed specifically for a particular group or individual need. All instructors are professional artists and teachers.  Tuition includes all materials.  Class size is limited.

Group Classes (8 weeks)


Ages 4 - K  "Mixed Media"             Tuesdays, Jan 15- March 4            4:00-5:00 p.m.             Tuition $!95.00
Ages 6-8  "Let's Paint!"                        Mondays, Jan 14-March 3         4:00-5:00 p.m.            Tuition $!95.00
Ages 6-8  "Let's Paint!"                          Thursdays, Jan 17-March 6          4:00-5:00 p.m.        Tuition $!95.00

 

Semi-Private Classes (12 weeks)


Ages 9-12    "Understanding Color" Studies using acrylic paint           
                                    Mondays, Jan. 14-March 31            5:30-7:00            Tuition $330.00

Ages 13-17  "Understanding Color" Studies using acrylic paint           
                        Tuesdays, Jan. 15-April 1                                    5:30-7:30            Tuition $330.00


Ages 13-17  "Sketching and Conceptual Art Making" Three-dimensional studies in mixed media
                        Thursdays, Jan. 17-April 3             5:30-7:30            Tuition $330.00

 

Adult Classes
Adults "Paper Mache - Form & Design" (8 week-two hour class) Students will create decorative three dimensional art objects while studying the use of
form and design.            Tuition  $225.00

Adults "Drawing The Human Figure"  (8 week-two hour class) Study of the figure using a live model.            Tuition  $275.00


The day and time for Adult classes will be worked out according to demand for the class and individual schedules.
