The Art Retreat

The Art Retreat is a department outing not to be missed. The retreat provides a relaxed outdoor experience to strengthen relationships with other art students, faculty & staff. The retreat is usually a multi-day event and is held at Pinson Mounds State Park in Pinson, Tennessee. This particular year Massachusetts artist Preston Saunders provided spiritual insight and held an environmental sculpture workshop.

Students participated with each other to create environmental sculpture modeled after a japanese garden concept.
