- Potential inhibitors of coagulation produced by hematophagous parasites, including ticks, mosquitoes, and biting flies.
- How the ability to inhibit host coagulation determines host range in hematophagous parasites.
- Biology of Hippoboscid flies (louseflies) infesting the owls of West Tennessee (Collaboration with Dr. James Huggins).
