2nd Colloquium Nov. 9
This fall’s second
Christian Studies
Colloquium, featuring
Dr. Gary Smith,
will be held on
Tuesday, Nov. 9th
at
3:15 p.m.
in
Jennings 325.
All faculty and students are invited to attend. The semester’s first
colloquium, held on Oct. 5th, featured Dr. Daryl Charles, who
presented on the subject: “Between Pacifism and Jihad—Just War and
the Christian Tradition: Retrospect and Prospect.” Approximately 60
faculty and students gathered to hear Dr. Charles’ passionate and
insightful presentation.
Ryan Center Conference
The
Ryan Center for
Biblical Studies
will host its
second conference on biblical
interpretation this Spring,
April 15-16.
The theme this year will be
"For All It's
Worth! Reading and Studying the Bible for Life"
and will feature renowned bible scholar and speaker
Dr. Gordon Fee
as well as popular singer, songwriter and author
Michael Card.
There will be breakout sessions on specific topics led by Union
faculty and other guests. The cost will be $45. For more
