Attendance is very important.  We will do in-class activities so please bring your textbook and any reference books to class with you.  If you must miss, please e-mail vmalone@uu.edu.

All assignments must be typed and triple spaced.

All exams will include in-class translations, both thème and version as well as vocabulary and grammar lessons covered during in-class activities.  Dictionaries will only be allowed to serve as aids.

36 Maître, quel est le plus grand commandement de la loi?  37 Jésus lui répondit: Tu aimeras le Seigneur, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur, de toute ton âme, et de toute ta pensée. (Mattieu 22)

L’homme n’est qu’un roseau, le plus faible de la nature; mais c’est un roseau pensant. (pensée, 347-200 de Pascal)
