Students with instrumental experience are encouraged to register for Symphonic Band. This ensemble is open to all university students and rehearses three times weekly. The Symphonic band performs once each term, presenting a variety of compositions and transcriptions. Scholarships are available to members of Symphonic Band through audition.
The Jazz Band of Union University performs one concert each term to a packed house of adoring fans. Focusing on literature from big band to contemporary jazz expressions, this non-auditioned ensemble practices one evening each week.
Ringing 5 octaves of English bells, the Union University Handbell Choir offers a unique opportunity to students of all backgrounds and experiences.
Piano Ensembles is open to students demonstrating sufficient keyboard skills and desiring to perform literature composed for multiple pianists at a single or multiple keyboards.
