Background and Recent Activities
Before coming to Union in 1989, Dr. Wellborn taught voice at Cumberland College.
A lyric soprano, Dr. Wellborn performs frequently as a recitalist and oratorio soloist and
serves as an adjudicator for vocal events. She recently presented a recital of works by Handel, Dvorak, and Barber.
