Sigma Alpha Iota

Sigma Alpha Iota is an international professional music fraternity.  The Gamma Sigma Chapter at Union is composed of women taking courses leading to a Bachelor of Music Degree or the Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major or minor in music.  Women who have completed at least one credit hour of music classes at Union may also join.  Membership is based on excellence in scholarship and musical ability.

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia

The primary purpose of this fraternity shall be to encourage and actively promote the highest standards of creativity, performance, education, and research in music in America.  Further purposes shall be to develop and encourage loyalty to the Alma Mater, to foster the mutual welfare and brotherhood of students of music, to develop the truest fraternal spirit among its members, and to instill in all people an awareness of music's important role in the enrichment of the human spirit.  Membership shall be open to all male students, faculty, and staff members in good standing with Union University, regardless of race, disability, religion, or national origin.

The Iota Sigma Chapter has been at Union since May 16, 1960.  It is a close-knit group of musicians and musically minded individuals who sponsor the annual All-Sing Competition and support all aspects of the musical arts at Union.

Collegiate Music Eduators National Conference is a student chapter of the primary professional society for elementary and secondary music teachers.
